Homemade Laundry Recipe

How to do your homemade laundry.

List of ingredients:

  • 20g of authentic Marseille horseshoe soap chips
  • 20g of baking soda (allows you to deodorize and give shine to your laundry)
  • 7g of soda crystals
  • 1L of boiling water

List of utensils:

  • 1 kitchen scale (otherwise about 1 teaspoon for 5 g.1 tablespoon for 15 gr)
  • 1 large container
  • 1 or more glass bottles depending on the amount you make

The steps:

  1. Mix everything in a large container.
  2. Let it cool, the laundry will thicken. Over time if it dephases mix before each use.

USE: pour 1 dose (75 ml) into the drum or tray of your laundry.

MACHINE MAINTENANCE TIP: Regularly descale your machine with a tablespoon of vinegar in the softener tray (makes the laundry soft and odorless) and occasionally turn your vacuum machine at 90°

INFO: With 750g of chips you can make about 500 detergents.

Recipe Cream to scrub

How to make your homemade scouring cream.

List of ingredients:

  • 50g of baking soda
  • 10g of green clay
  • 5g of degreasing soda crystals
  • 50g of black soap

List of utensils:

  • 1 kitchen scale (otherwise about 1 teaspoon for 5 g. 1 tablespoon for 15 gr)
  • 1 large container, provide a lid because it will contain the mixture

The steps:

  1. Mix everything in a large container.
  2. Let it rest for 24 hours. The dough will harden.

USE: Rub your wet sponge directly into the pot.

Thoroughly cleans all surfaces (ideal for kitchen sinks). Remember to rinse afterwards.

Solid dish recipe

How to make your solid dishes.

List of ingredients:

  • 6cl / 60ml of boiling water
  • 80g of shavings of authentic Marseille Iron à Cheval soap
  • 2 tablespoons of soda crystals
  • 2 tablespoons of baking soda

List of utensils:

  • 1 kitchen scale (otherwise about 1 teaspoon for 5 g. 1 tablespoon for 15 gr)
  • 1 silicone mold or an ice cube mold

The steps:

  1. Heat over low heat (about 60°).
  2. Mix well.
  3. Pour into the silicone mold;
  4. Let it dry for 48 hours.
    If the soda rises, simply re-humidify.

USE: Unmold and rub your sponge or dish brush.
